Tad Powers

Tad Powers, President
Tad is the owner of High Country Baseball Camps and International Tours. Tad played professional baseball for nine years. He was a owner and manager for The Sydney Wave of The Australian Baseball League (ABL). Powers sat on the ABL board of directory for three years. He also founded Futera Sports Cards, later sold to Crazy Cards (Pockimon, Didgemon). He was an international scout for the Chicago Cubs for eleven years and the Anaheim Angels for one year. He is currently the host of The Sandlot radio show on ESPN, which is approaching its fourth season. Powers has two great boys Cade, 17 and Cody, 14 they are both avid baseball players and love the game.


Christie Epperly

Christie Epperly, Corporate Office Manager
Christie has been managing offices for over 5 years in the dentistry field. She is has worked in a multitude of different industries from computer technical support to marketing to office management. Christie came to the Sandlot with the passion to organize, systematize and to help take The Sandlot to the next level. Christie joined the Sandlot in May 2007 and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Christie is a native to Colorado and enjoys cooking, teaching Sunday school and watching movies. Christie has been married to Josh for two years and they hope to start a family soon.


Christie Epperly

Micah Bernhardt, Director of Baseball Development and Design Coordinator
Micah played four years of college baseball. Two at Arapahoe Community College; earning First Team All Conference honors, and two years at Eastern New Mexico University. Micah earned his Associate of Arts Degree, and Bachelor of University Studies Degree with emphasis in Art and Coaching. Micah graduated from Eagle Valley High School where he was a three sport athlete, earning All-State honors in each. Micah worked for Western Eagle County Metro Recreation District for 9 years working with adult and youth sports, officiating, and facility management and maintenance. Micah is one of four children who all love baseball. He has two older brothers Matthew and Mac as well as one younger sister Maddi. Micah’s parents, Mark and Mary are both educators in Eagle Valley.


Troy Thibodeaux, Director of Tournaments
Troy owns and operates the Sandlot Baseball & Softball Academy and Sandlot Sports Complex located in Lafayette, Louisiana. He served on the South Lafayette Youth Sports Incorporated Board of Directors for five years. Troy has coached recreation, select, junior high and high school aged sports for more than twelve years. He served several years in the United States Army as a military police officer and four years as a police officer for the Lafayette City Police Department. He has spent the last thirteen years as a Safety Director in the oilfield business.


Robert Reep, Director of Build-outs
Robert has worked in various fields in the industrial construction field. For the 18 years, He has worked hand in hand with companies in business planning and development. He is very knowledgeable in the construction industry. He has a great love for kids and has always wanted to help them. While coaching a little league baseball team in his area, He realized that a lot of the kids are being coached wrong and he wanted to help. Know he enjoys helping kids in fundamental baseball. Robert has been married for 8 years ,Jalene, and 2 children, Jordan 8 and brandon 4.
